Dr. Teh Lay Ann is a distinguished Endodontist with a passion in saving teeth. She completed her Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry (DClintDent) in Endodontology at UKM in 2020. Her dedication and expertise were further recognized with the esteemed Membership in Endodontics from both the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Royal College of England. As a board-certified endodontist under the Malaysian Dental Council, Dr. Teh stands among an elite group of specialists in the field.

In 2012, Dr Teh obtained her Doctor in Dental Surgery from the National University of Malaysia (UKM), earning Dean’s List Award for her exceptional academic performance. Her pursuit of excellence continued with the prestigious Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) Edinburgh.
Driven by a strong desire to save natural teeth, Dr Teh emphasizes on detailed, meticulous work to ensure optimum success in her endodontic procedures. Her expertise extends beyond primary root canal treatment to endodontic microsurgery and pulp regeneration procedures. She emphasizes the gold standard in treatment protocol based on the latest guidelines from European Society of Endodontology (ESE) and American Association of Endodontists (AAE). Knowing that root canal treatment is daunting for many individuals, she prioritizes patient’s care and comfort during treatment.​
Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Teh has served as a full-time lecturer in Endodontics at UKM, mentoring both undergraduate and postgraduate students in Endodontics and Restorative Dentistry. She is a sought-after speaker and educator, frequently invited to conduct lectures and advanced Endodontic workshops nationwide. In 2023, she further refined her knowledge through the Global Clinical Scholars Research Training (GCSRT) from Harvard University, solidifying her position at the forefront of dental academia and research.
Dr. Teh specializes in complex root canal treatments, retreatments, and the management of endodontic complications. With a keen interest in endodontic microsurgery, she pursued further training under Prof. Paula Villa, ensuring she delivers cutting-edge care with microsurgical precision.
